How do I know if I need help?
Eating disorders do not discriminate. Eating disorders show up in all genders, ages and socioeconomic statuses and everyone deserves help. If you are feeling trapped by your relationship with food, if you find yourself obsessing about your next meal or the numbers on the scale now is the time to start your journey towards freedom.
-
Do I need to have an eating disorder to see you?
No! Although I specialize in food and body relationships, I have experience treating individuals with substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also am here for relationship problems, grief and life transitions. I practice meeting you where you are and working with you developing your own therapeutic goals!
-
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. If you have an insurance plan that includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to use it for my therapy services. Each month I will send you a super bill that you are able to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
-
How frequently do I need therapy?
After our initial visit, we will develop a plan together to meet your therapeutic goals. Most clients are seen on a weekly basis. However, there are some circumstances where I meet with clients more or less frequently! We will work it out together!
